Part Four of Reflections from Our Founder

Dear Caleb Family,

At 96 years old, I don’t think much about what I’ve accomplished, but I think often about what will remain.

The Lord promised Caleb that because he followed Him wholeheartedly, his children would inherit the land (Numbers 14:24). That promise has always moved me deeply. Caleb’s faith did not end with his lifetime, but it became a blessing that reached generations beyond him.

I have learned that legacy is rarely built in dramatic moments. More often, it is formed quietly and through long obedience, patient faith, and repeated “yeses” to God over many years.

Every prayer offered, every truth passed on, and every act of generosity becomes part of a story much bigger than we can see in the moment.

I began Caleb Global because I believe with all my heart that the Church must think generationally. We are not living for just today. We are stewarding something for those who will come after us.

I long to see the Church awakened to God’s heart and purposes for Israel and to invest in men and women who will carry that conviction with faith and courage into the future.

As we close this month together, my invitation is simple: continue this journey with us. Walk alongside Caleb Global as we raise up leaders who will multiply God’s heart and purposes for Israel to the ends of the earth, and help us shape a generation marked by a different spirit, wholehearted devotion, and faith that takes mountains!

Taking Your Mountain

Part Three of Reflections from Our Founder

Dear Caleb Family,

When Caleb was eighty-five years old, he made a remarkable request. After decades of wandering in the wilderness and years of battle in the Promised Land, he said, “Now give me this mountain” (Joshua 14:12).

He did not ask for ease or comfort. He asked for the very hill country where the giants still lived.

What strikes me most is that Caleb’s courage at eighty-five was rooted in a promise he had received at forty. For forty-five years, he carried that promise in his heart. And when the time came, he stepped forward with the same confidence he had as a younger man: “The Lord helping me, I will drive them out just as He said” (Joshua 14:12).

Taking your mountain is not about ambition. It is about faithful and enduring obedience.

Each of us is given a “mountain,” an assignment where God has asked us to trust Him fully. Sometimes that mountain looks intimidating. Sometimes we wonder if God’s promise will ever come to pass.

But I have learned this over many years of walking with the Lord: if He made the promise, He will remain faithful to fulfill it. Our part is to stay close to Him, to keep believing, and to move forward when He says, “Now.”

My prayer for you is that you would not shrink back from the mountain before you. Whatever God has spoken over your life—believe and hold fast to Him. The same God who sustained Caleb will sustain you.

May we continue to take our mountains together and glorify the Lord!

Wholehearted Devotion

Part Two of Reflections from Our Founder

Dear Caleb Family,

When Scripture says that Caleb “followed the Lord wholeheartedly,” it marks the thread that defined his life. It was not a single brave moment, but a steady posture of devotion over many years.

Wholeheartedness is not perfection. It is not loud or dramatic. It is a settled and certain decision of the heart: Lord, I am completely and fully Yours.

Wholehearted devotion means we do not give God a portion of our lives, but all of it. Our plans, our reputation, and our future. It means obeying when it is costly and trusting when the outcome is uncertain. Over time, I have learned that God is not looking for extraordinary ability, He simply wants a heart that is fully His.

This has been my prayer at 26, at 60, and now at 96: “Lord, help me walk with an undivided heart, fully surrendered to You.” No matter what He may ask of me, I want my response to always be “yes, Lord”. 

And this is my prayer for you as well. In a world full of distractions and divided loyalties, in seasons of great triumph and in seasons of great testing, may you live with wholehearted devotion to Jesus, the King of Kings, and may you call those the Lord has placed in your path to do the same.

May we be a people who not only believe His promises, but who live them out with courage, faithfulness, and a willing “yes” in our generation.

A Different Spirit

Part One of Reflections from Our Founder

Dear Caleb Family,

This month, by the grace of God, I turn 96 years old. When I look back over my life and reflect on how the Lord has walked with me, I can say this with deep gratitude: He has been faithful every step of the way.

In Numbers 14:24, the Lord speaks of Caleb and says something that has stayed with me my entire life: “But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it.”

Over the years, I have asked the Lord to make those same words true in my own life, not through my strength, but through the power of His Holy Spirit. May He shape in me a different spirit: one that trusts God when others shrink back in fear, and one that clings to His promises with confidence and hope no matter what “giants” stand before me.

Caleb didn’t deny that there were giants in the land. He simply believed that God was bigger. That kind of faith doesn’t come from youth or strength. It comes from knowing God and taking Him at His word.

My heart’s cry is that the Lord would continue to raise up a Caleb generation in our day—men and women who refuse to be shaped by fear, cynicism, media, or compromise, and instead walk in a different spirit.

This is why I started Caleb Global. Not to build an organization, but to invest in the future generations so that they too would carry that different spirit into the Church, into Israel, and into the nations. And so that they too would pass it on to the next generation.

I invite you to pray with me for God to raise up more men and women who will walk as Caleb did. Join with Caleb Global as we activate the Church to bless Israel and invest in those who will follow the Word of God above the voice of culture in the days ahead.

I invite you to step into this with us, that together we might carry and pass on a different spirit.

Lord, let us be a generation who walks by faith and in the fear of the Lord. May we be ones who carry a different spirit.
